After installing the posts and fabric for your chain link fence, you'll notice there's a missing decorative asset needed to make your fence look polished and complete. Without these protective caps, the posts pose a potential safety hazard: it is more than easy for someone to accidentally cut themselves on the sharp edges. What's more, having these openings means your posts can become filled with rain, moisture, and debris. And if the edges are not only sharp but rusty, an accident cut may necessitate a tetanus shot.

Made of rust-resistant steel, it has been painted black to match the aesthetic of a black vinyl chain link fence. The smooth, domed-shaped surface and rounded edges reduce the likelihood of accidental cuts. Installation of this terminal cap is simple: just place the cap over the exposed rim of the post top and press it down until it becomes locked in place. If need be, you can use a rubber mallet to gently hammer it snugly into place.
