An essential part in the assembly of black vinyl chain link fence panels, the 3” Black End Band [14 Gauge] is sturdy and versatile. Carefully engineered by certified industry professionals, it is designed for securing horizontal rails, barbed wire, and tension wire to terminal posts—which include gate posts, corner posts, and end posts. Before installing this end post, begin by fitting all terminal posts on your chain link fence panels with tension bands. Next, attach the band itself by slipping it over the post adjacent to the rail end. Slide the rail end between the tangs on the end band and secure using a carriage bolt (sold separately).

To boost aesthetic appeal, this end band has been fabricated using black vinyl coating.

  • Also great for gate frames
  • Fits 3” outside diameter pipes
  • Black vinyl coating
  • Nut and bolt not included, part 11170B

How the part fits? The end band couples around the gate post, corner post, and end post to connect top, bottom, or mid-rails, barb arms/barbed wire, tension wire, and more.

Where is it installed? The end band fits on the gate, corner, or end post. The band can be placed on the upper, middle, or lower part of the post depending on the use.

How many do you need?  To attach the top rail, you will need at least (1) end band per termination of fence. For every full stretch of fabric, you will need (2) end bands for your (2) terminal posts. This rule is also true for bottom or mid rail, tension wire, barbed wire, or other use.

3" OD post size, .41lbs

When using the end band for top rail, end bands should be installed after you install your tensions bands. Your end band will slide over your terminal post adjacent to your rail end. You will then slide your rail end in between the tangs of the end band and place a 5/16” x 1-1/4” carriage bolt (part 11170B, not included) through the band and rail end and tighten the nut.
