In order for chain link fabric to effectively protect your property, it needs to be firmly attached to the frame of your fence. A sturdy fence will not be jostled loose on a windy day, and cannot be easily undone by an intruder. Securing fabric in place is easy with these 9-1/2" x 9 ga .80oz wire ties. Made of sturdy yet bendable aluminum, these ties are designed to wrap through the "knuckles" in your chain link fabric and, at the same time, around either the top rails or line posts of your fence. This will firmly attach the fabric to the framework. Each tie is fashioned with a hooked end, which makes installation easier.
To install, use the hooked end to grip a knuckle at the edge of the fabric closest to the line post or rail. Wrap the tail end completely around the rail/post and tie off the remainder around a wire in the fabric. These chain link fence wires ties are made of rust resistant materials—thereby increasing the longevity of your fence. Each bag comes with 100 ties.

How the part fits? The 9-1/2” wire ties are designed to go around line posts and over top rail.
Where is it installed? The 9-1/2” wire tie is installed every 24” on the top rail, and for your line post you will have the height of your fence minus 1. For example: for a 4’ fence you will have 3 wire ties. The 3 ties will be evenly spaced out, the first one 6” from the bottom and the last one 6” from the top.
How many do you need? You will need one wire tie every 24” for the top rail, and height of your fence minus 1 for each line post.

The tie is design to hook the first knuckle of the chain link and bend the hook end past rest of the tie.
