  • EASY TO INSTALL: To install these wire ties, place the hooked end around a knuckle in the edge of your chain link mesh—one next to the line post or top rail you want to attach the infill to. Wrap the tail around the post/rail and coil the remainder around a wire in the mesh.
  • RUST RESISTANT: Fashioned from aluminum, these ties are highly resistant to rust and corrosion.
  • BAG OF 100: This bag contains enough ties to tie off loose points in several panels of chain link fencing.

Used to seal off loose points in chain link fencing, these wire ties are easy to install. Each tie is fabricated with a hooked end, which is where the installation process begins. Use the hooked end to grip a knuckle along the edge of your chain link, on a side you want connected to either a line post or a rail. Pinch the hook together so that it remains firmly clamped in place. Now wrap the tie’s tail around the rail/post and secure the remainder by wrapping it around a wire in the mesh. These ties are rust-resistant and fabricated from aluminum, granting them superior longevity. Each bag contains 100 ties—enough to tie off loose points in multiple chain link fence panels. Closing off these loose points is important to making your fence as secure as possible; you don’t want animals or intruders exploiting weak points in the mesh. These ties are for 2-1/2” posts.

How the part fits? The 8-1/4” wire ties are designed to go around line posts and over top rail.

Where is it installed? The 8-1/4” wire tie is installed every 24” on the top rail, and for your line post you will have the height of your fence minus 1. For example: for a 4’ fence you will have 3 wire ties. The 3 ties will be evenly spaced out, the first one 6” from the bottom and the last one 6” from the top.

How many do you need? You will need one wire tie every 24” for the top rail, and height of your fence minus 1 for each line post.

    Fits 2-1/2" post.

The tie is design to hook the first knuckle of the chain link and bend the hook end past rest of the tie.
