Once you've finished installing a chain link fence, there are still a few accessories that need attachment. For example, you have terminal posts with wide openings that need to be covered. Terminal caps are essential for making the fence appear not just elegant but whole and complete. Without these caps to cover them, the openings of your posts present safety hazards. The edges can become sharp with time, so accidental cuts are possible for people who come in contact with the fence—especially children as they attempt to climb the fabric. Wide openings also present gaps for collecting precipitation and debris. This, over time, can compromise the integrity of the fence.

The 1-5/8" Black Aluminum Terminal Cap is designed to counter these issues. The cap features a domed shape with rounded edges, which makes it safe to handle both before and after installation. This cap can be used to cover gate, end, and corner posts. Attaching it to your post is easy. Press the cap over the post opening and gently fit into place. If it's not fitting on properly, use a rubber mallet to help it snap on. The 1-5/8" Aluminum Terminal Cap is highly rust resistant and painted to match the aesthetic of a black vinyl chain link fence.
