PalmSHIELD uses a proven fully welded frame to support their panel’s infill placed in-between 4 inch square posts. All of PalmSHIELD’s panels and posts are pre-drilled and shop assembled to assure proper alignment.
After fabrication and assembly, all materials are carefully sweep blasted and powder coated. The most important part to any coating system is the preparation of materials. Sweep blasting removes any lingering debris and opens the steel and aluminum up for adhesion. Custom colors are available for Ajax diagonal louvers upon request as well. PalmSHIELD uses polyester powder coating in accordance with material hardness ASTM 3363 2H.
